Why Patients Choose Gulfside Dental in an Emergency
Dental emergencies include cracked, chipped, or knocked-out teeth; severe or persistent toothaches; oral infections or abscesses; lost fillings or crowns; and painful or bleeding gums.
What should I do if my tooth gets knocked out?
Handle the tooth by the crown only—never the root. Rinse it gently with water (no soap) and try to keep it moist. If possible, place it in a container of milk or under your tongue. Call us immediately. The sooner you see us, ideally within 30 minutes, the better your chances of saving the tooth.
Can I be seen the same day?
Yes, we proudly offer same-day appointments for emergency visits. We typically begin with X-rays and can often complete treatment the same day.
Do you accept walk-ins for dental emergencies?
Absolutely. We welcome walk-ins for emergency cases and work to see you as soon as possible.
Is the $175 New Patient Special valid for emergencies?
Yes! If you’re a new patient without insurance, you can still take advantage of our special offer, even during an emergency visit.
How do I know if it’s an urgent issue or a true emergency?
If you’re unsure, contact us and we’ll help you determine what level of care you need. As a general rule, cosmetic or orthodontic concerns are not considered emergencies.
Should I go to the ER or visit you?
If you’re dealing with a dental-specific issue, like a tooth injury, abscess, or mouth pain, it’s usually best to come to us. The ER may only provide temporary pain relief. For uncontrolled bleeding, trauma, or breathing issues, visit the ER immediately.
Don’t stay in pain another day. Call now for emergency relief.
